Wearing a pair of 3D glasses, visitors to the SIP Pavilion at the 12th China Suzhou Creative & Design Cultural Industry Expo (CCDE) could see 3D imagines of cultural artifacts, and they could even change their sizes and turn them to any angle they wanted through a gesture-controlled device.
The digital museum created with virtual reality technology was not the only surprise given by the SIP Pavilion. From July 14 to 16, anyone who walked into the pavilion was amazed by the bamboo curtain over their head and the ingenious integration of digital technology and culture.
In addition to creative cultural products from a number of SIP-based enterprises, diverse works created by children and teens at 11 schools and SIP Youth & Children Centre received high praise from the visitors.
