A Paul Cezanne art exhibition opened at Ui ART Center, SIP on Aug 16, and will last till Dec 4 to offer the visitors a good opportunity to appreciate the attainments of French Post-Impressionist painter whose work laid the foundations of the transition from the 19th century conception of artistic endeavor to a new and radically different world of art in the 20th century.
The exhibition is an outcome of the cooperation between Ui ART Center and Sipa China, a branch of Sipa Press, a French agency founded in 1969 representing over 2,000 photographers worldwide. Starting from The Four Seasons created by Paul Cezanne between 1860 and 1861, the exhibits show the life of the artist in four periods.
It is worth mentioning that modern multimedia technologies and devices are used to give the visitors an immersive experience. The huge works occupying the walls and ground in an 882-square-meter space make the viewers feel like they have traveled back to the artist’s time.
