The library at Northern SIP Citizen Center was declared one of the “Characteristic Public Cultural Spaces of Jiangnan Style in Suzhou” on Jan 20.
The 1,000-square-meter library is far more than a place for reading books, but combines bookstore, café and tourist attractions. It has recorded a reader footfall of more than 210,000 since its opening nine months ago, and hosted 72 events for children and adults, in which about 15,000 people participated to explore the world of dinosaurs, experience diverse cultures and arts and enjoy the joy of knowledge acquisition and sharing.
