Hengmei Art Space, an art cluster under the operation of Hengtai Holdings, a real estate conglomerate in SIP, opened at SIP’s Sangtian Island Innovation Park on Oct 15, with an area of about 1,000 square meters for exhibiting artworks and hosting events for art exchanges.
Hengtai Holdings has expanded its deployment in the cultural and art sectors in recent years. Under the brand “Hengmei”, it also operates a 10,000-square-meter art creation base gathering many renowned Chinese artists.
A fine arts exhibition kicked off at Hengmei Art Space concurrently, and will last till Dec 31. On display are 100 oil paintings, traditional Chinese paintings, calligraphy works, sculptures, installations and photos from more than 40 artists in partnership with Hengmei and specially invited artists.
