The Community Working Committee of SIP’s Moon Bay sub-district recently launched an education program aimed at giving local children aged below 3 a leg up in their growth.
The program consists of lessons on music, language, thinking and other subjects designed to help infant and young children improve their personality development, cognitive competence, expression ability, physical agility and creativity as well as learn some knowledge on mathematics.
The first session took place at Hanlin Community Club on Oct 23 when the children and their parents played a series of games following the teachers’ demonstration and instruction. The games showed good effect in tightening parent-child ties and helping the children improve their concentration and speaking ability.
