Communities in SIP’s Hudong sub-district recently carried out a series of events to give gifts and greetings to aged CPC members and people working outdoors for waste sorting.
The administrative staff in Xinyue Community visited a number of CPC members aged above 70, giving them rice and edible oil, introducing the community’s elderly services to them and offering them tips on health maintenance and winter safety protection.
The neighborhood committee of Haishang Community provided warm pastes and gloves to 11 volunteers who serve at the local waste drop-off sites to help sort waste.
The neighborhood committee of Shidai Shangchengbei Community joined hands with a local enterprise to give cotton wadded jackets to the local waste sorting workers.
