The CPC branch at CS Public Utilities (CSPU), a company specializing in funding, building and managing eco-friendly public utilities in SIP, and the CPC committee at BioBAY, a biomedicine cluster in SIP, signed an agreement on Nov 18 to launch cooperation in innovating on public utility solutions to support the biomedical industry which is given top priority in SIP’s development planning.
Concurrently, He Shun Environment, a CSPU subsidiary, launched the piloting program of using its hazardous waste collection system to help micro- and small-sized businesses in BioBAY ensure safe and efficient management of hazardous waste.
It is learnt that He Shun Environment developed the system last year to provide one-stop services for collection, packaging, storage and delivery of pharmaceutical waste and other hazardous waste generated by micro- and small-sized businesses. The system has offered 800-plus businesses including many BioBAY-based ones the help in solving difficulties in hazardous waste disposal and lowering their cost of hazardous waste management.
