Two propepsin test kits developed by Roche Diagnostics (Suzhou) Limited, a branch of Swiss biotech company Roche, was approved for marketing recently, marking the second success Roche has made in localizing R&D and manufacturing of innovative immunologic diagnosis products in China.
The test kits boast high precision and strong anti-interference capability, and requires only minimal samples. Through combined detection, the product can help identify patients with late-stage atrophic gastritis and the risk of causing gastric cancer.
SIP Market Supervision Bureau has provided support for the registration of the products since late last year.
