Event on development of low-altitude economy and talents held in SIP

The 2024 SIP Conference on Development of Low-altitude Economy and Talents was held at Xinshengli·Low-altitude Economy Park, SIP on July 12. As part of the 2024 (16th) Suzhou Entrepreneurship Week for International Elites, the event gathered experts, scholars, investors and media representatives who discussed the trends and prospects of low-altitude economy.

Yang Fan, member and head of the Organization Department of the CPC SIP Working Committee, delivered a speech at the event, and issued the letter of appointment to a number of “mentors” for low-altitude economy talents in SIP.

At the event, the School-Enterprise Training Base of the College of Mechanical & Electrical Engineering of Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics (NUAA), the School-Enterprise Cooperative Airworthiness Research Base of the College of Civil Aviation of NUAA and the Low-altitude Economy Talent Cultivation Cooperation Base of Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University were inaugurated.

The Organization Department of the CPC SIP Working Committee, SIP Economic Development Committee, Suzhou Industrial Park Urban Renovation & Development Co Ltd, the College of Civil Aviation of NUAA, Suzhou Institute of Wuhan University and Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University signed strategic cooperation agreements to jointly provide a wider platform for the cultivation of low-altitude economy talents in SIP.

Prof. Dong Zhen from Wuhan University and Prof. Sun Youchao from NUAA gave speeches on application of unmanned aerial vehicle under the development of large AI models and airworthiness management for low-altitude aircraft and cultivation of related talents.

The representatives from several enterprises shared their insights on low-altitude economy, and gave introductions to related technologies and products.

The event included a roundtable where the guests discussed a series of issues concerning the development of low-altitude economy and cultivation of airworthiness professionals.
