Metso Outotec, a Finnish publicly traded company that focuses on providing technology and services for aggregates, mineral processing and metal refining industries, launched the construction on the second phase of its Suzhou plant in SIP on Mar 1.
Metso Outotec set up the Suzhou plant in SIP in 2008 to develop, assemble and manufacture equipment for mining, metallurgical engineering, energy utilization and environmental protection. The second phase, with an area of about 5,000 square meters, is expected to enable Metso Outotec to double its output in China and upgrade its products and services for clients.
