AGIOE, an SIP-based company which develops optical fiber sensor networks and digital asset management systems, broke ground on its R&D and manufacturing base in SIP on Jan 11.
The project, with a total investment of RMB 500 million, is located in the Listed Companies Park on the bank of Wusong River, and is expected to complete in 2026.
With a land area of 32 mu (21,333 square meters) and a designed floor area of 780,000 square meters, the project will serve as AGIOE’s headquarters, R&D center and plant for development and manufacturing of asset management systems based on optical fiber sensor technology.
The headquarters building will be equipped with the company’s optical fiber sensors for structural health monitoring, energy consumption and emission control and fire alarming.
