The Suzhou Aerospace Industry Development Conference was held in SIP on Apr 26, designed to help drive the development of the aerospace industry in Suzhou.
Suzhou Aerospace Technology Research Center was inaugurated at the event to dedicate to macro research and planning aimed at enhancing the competitiveness of the aerospace industry in Suzhou.
Concurrently, SIP, the high-tech park which saw a total output value of more than RMB10 billion in the local aerospace sector last year, announced to build an aerospace industry park focusing on precision manufacturing of aircraft components and parts, new materials, electronic equipment, testing and maintenance and air services.
In addition, 30 SIP-based enterprises were declared members of the “Suzhou Pool of Selected Aerospace Enterprises” and will get support from local authorities for further development in the aerospace sector.
The event also included a signing ceremony for eight projects to be landed in SIP.
