Huawei Digital Technologies (Suzhou) Co Ltd, an SIP-based subsidiary of Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei, inaugurated its innovation base for postdoctoral talents at Huawei’s research institute in SIP’s Sangtian Island on Jan 18, in a bid to cultivate scientists who can help promote efficient integration of technology and industries.
According to the company, it plans to introduce 200-plus postdoctoral talents this year and offer them chances to interact with enterprises so that they can better understand the enterprises’ needs for high-tech solutions for their operations.
CPC SIP Working Committee secretary Wu Qingwen attended the inauguration. He said the base is expected to help expand SIP’s “high-caliber talent pool” and drive local industry-study-research cooperation. He promised that SIP authorities will give full support to it.
