Chinese telecommunications giant Huawei will set up four headquarters in SIP for different purposes, according to the agreement signed between the company and the government of Suzhou at the Suzhou Digital Economy and Development Conference on Jan 4.
The headquarters, including Huawei China Government and Enterprise Services Headquarters, Huawei China Cloud Computing Headquarters, Huawei EBG Global Open Lab Headquarters and Huawei WLAN Global R&D Headquarters, will be located at Huawei’s R&D base in SIP’s Sangtian Island. The R&D base is one of Huawei’s four major R&D facilities in East China, with a total floor area of about 760,000 square meters.
The headquarters are designed to help Huawei improve its services for government and enterprise clients and accelerate innovation in digital technologies. Moreover, these facilities are expected to drive the growth of SIP’s digital economy to a new height.
