The Administrative Committee of SIP’s Dushu Lake Science & Education Innovation Zone (DLSEIZ) and Siemens Corporate Technology China (Suzhou), a research institute of German multinational conglomerate Siemens AG in SIP, jointly held the “Unique DLSEIZ” Application Scenarios Matching event on Dec 14, offering representatives from about 100 enterprises and research institutes a chance to visit the research institute of Siemens and seek cooperation in digitalization of manufacturing facilities.
In the event, Chen Qixiao, R&D director at the research institute, gave the participants a specific introduction to their efforts and achievements in developing digital technologies for application in the manufacturing sectors, with emphasis on 14 mature application scenarios designed to help traditional manufacturers improve production efficiency and enhance the competitiveness of their products.
The participants also had a tour around the institute’s laboratories and gained a better understanding of Siemens’ advanced management concepts and R&D system.
