VIRTUE, an IVD (in vitro diagnosis) solutions company incorporated in SIP last year, inaugurated its headquarters in SIP’s biomedicine cluster BioBAY on Dec 15.
The company, dedicated to developing innovative IVD technologies and products for screening, diagnosis and treatment of infection of pathogenic microorganisms, cancers and other diseases, has shown great strength in promoting R&D, clinical application and commercialization of IVD solutions. It raised RMB 200 million in Series A funding, and the tandem mass spectrometry device it developed is in pilot production. Moreover, its subsidiary in Singapore is building a 1,000-square-meter lab.
The headquarters in BioBAY, with a total floor area of 6,200 square meters, boasts integrated functions for R&D, manufacturing, marketing and business management.
