Suzhou Ballet Theatre (SBT)’s new original production “Jasmine” premiered with resounding success on Apr 25.
Supervised by Tan Yuanyuan, art director of SBT, and choreographed by Wang Hao, choreographer of Shanghai Ballet, this work redefines the boundaries of classical ballet with innovative dancing, offering audiences an unprecedented visual and artistic feast.
“The jasmine flower symbolizes purity and fidelity, and represents both love and friendship. Through the dancers’ physical expressions, I hope to explore the boundless possibilities,” said Wang.
