A delegation of 28 diplomatic envoys from different countries enjoyed a tour around SIP on Mar 26 in the “Jiangsu Tour for Diplomatic Envoys to China” organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the country. In the process, they gained a holistic picture of SIP.
At SIP Exhibition Center, the delegation acquired a comprehensive understanding of SIP’s development trajectory and concepts, overall design and achievements in innovation.
The diplomatic envoys were deeply impressed by the prosperity of SIP. Mrs. Martha A. Mavrommati, Ambassador of the Republic of Cyprus to the People’s Republic of China, took a picture with the national flag of her country on the wall with displays about foreign-funded enterprises in SIP.
The diplomatic envoys then visited Higer Bus Company Limited, a bus manufacturer with its products used in over 130 countries and regions. In the company’s exhibition hall, they learned details about the company’s efforts and achievements in developing new energy vehicles and intelligent driving solutions.
The diplomatic envoys also tried a ride in the company’s new intelligent bus.
The delegation also visited SHAREATE Tool Ltd, a high-tech enterprise engaged in cemented carbide products and rock drilling tools, learning about its products and production process.
The event is expected to open new channels for SIP to expand international communication and cooperation, which will help quicken its pace toward a world-class high-tech park.
