A two-month campaign launched by SIP Public Culture Center (SIPPCC) and its member SIP Library on Apr 15 to mark the World Intellectual Property Day has showed good effect in increasing the public’s awareness and knowledge about intellectual property rights.
A succession of lectures such as those on patents and patent application have been offered under the campaign, attracting more than 200 participants from enterprises and other social circles. A lecture on patent development planning and quality control in enterprises is scheduled on May 26.
It is learnt that, in addition to the campaign, SIP Library, with a think tank of 400-plus experts in IP rights, plans to produce a series of videos about IP laws and host a diversity of salon sessions, workshops and other events over the rest of this year to help promote IP right creation and protection in SIP.
