Lin Xiaoming, director of SIP Administrative Committee, and Zhu Jiang, director of the Publicity Department and the United Front Work Department of CPC SIP Working Committee, jointly unveiled the nameplate for SIP Investment Promotion Center for Cultural Industry on Jan 25. The center focuses on digital culture and content to buoy the development of cultural industry in SIP.
At the inauguration, a number of financial institutions including the Agricultural Bank of China and the banks of Beijing, Shanghai and Suzhou, consulting companies including Deloitte China, PWC and KPMG, and several law firms and other professional organizations signed agreements to cooperate with the center.
In collaboration with its partners, the center will provide comprehensive professional services to help accelerate talent cultivation, project introduction and ecosystem building in the cultural sector so that SIP can achieve the goal by 2023 to keep a leading role in Suzhou in terms of the proportion of added value of the cultural and related industries in local GDP.
