Bosch Auto Parts (Suzhou) Co Ltd, German multinational Bosch’s automotive component manufacturing arm in SIP, is not only a user of industrial Internet, but also a disseminator of the technology. It is helping more and more clients make their manufacturing and logistics smart based on its experience and expertise in intelligentization.
“Smart technology has enabled us to lower manufacturing cost and improve manufacturing and logistics efficiency, and we hope it can benefit our clients in the same way,” said Ren Xiaoxia, director of IIoT manufacturing and logistics at the company.
The company’s workshops now can send real-time information about material consumption to the warehouse so that the latter can avoid excess inventories and make more efficient arrangement for its supplies.
“We have applied smart solutions in procurement, production, delivery and many other procedures, which has driven the improvement of our value chain. We are now rolling out our good practices to the upstream and downstream enterprises,” said Ren.
Based on its existing software and smart solutions, the company has developed the NEXEED which can help its clients optimize their manufacturing and logistics operations so that they can save cost and time and improve product quality.
“We offer training to clients and develop new solutions based on their needs,” Ren added.
