SIP hosted a grand signing ceremony at Jinji Lake International Convention Center on Feb 19 when 100 projects were signed. These projects will bring a total investment of more than RMB 80 billion to SIP.
At the signing ceremony, the Suzhou Working Committees of Singapore International Arbitration Centre and Singapore International Mediation Centre were inaugurated to provide support for international commercial arbitration and mediation in the Yangtze River Delta region.
Concurrently, SIP authorities announced to set up international business cooperation centers in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo to enhance overseas investment promotion and business services.
Wu Qingwen, secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, announced at the event that SIP will upgrade the Suzhou International Internet Data Channel to better support business operations.
Additionally, KPMG unveiled the report on its latest evaluation of SIP’s business environment, under which SIP ranks 25th among industrial parks worldwide in terms of business environment. The Measures of SIP for Bettering Services for Foreign Talents was released at the same time.
