The 2024 Karlsruhe Institute of Technology (KIT) Innovation Day was held in SIP on July 10, and the 10th anniversary celebration of KIT China Branch was held at the same time.
The KIT is one of the largest and oldest research and education institutions in Germany. It set up the KIT China Branch in SIP in 2014 to provide machine manufacturing, production and processing and resource efficiency solutions to local enterprises based on its advanced technology and concepts.
At the event, the experts from KIT Energy Center and Climate and Environment Center, those from the Shanghai-based Tongji University, and the representatives of a number of well-known enterprises shared innovative methods and ideas for industrial and environmental sustainability, hoping to help enterprises in SIP achieve sustainable development and promote high-quality development of the new energy and green industry in SIP.
The KIT Alumni Network China Center was inaugurated. It will serve as a bridge to promote cooperation and exchanges between KIT alumni in academic researches, technology innovation and business operation.
