The students in SIP Jinji Lake School recently sent a letter to Macau University of Science and Technology (M.U.S.T.), which the school established friendship with in 2021, congratulating it on the launch of the “Macao Science 1” space exploration satellites.
The school said its students felt very excited when watching the video of the launch of “Macao Science 1” and knowing that President Xi had extended his congratulations and encouragement in a reply letter to the representatives of M.U.S.T.’s faculty and students who took part in the research and development of the project.
“We hope the students could feel how important science and technology innovation is, and have the courage to climb up the peaks of science and technology,” said Gu Jun, deputy principal of the school.
According to Gu, the school has developed a series of courses and carries out a large variety of activities each year to help its students improve their knowledge and creativity for science and technology innovation.
