With the approach of the Chinese Spring Festival, which will fall on Jan 22, Shen Mi, secretary of CPC SIP Working Committee, and other officials from SIP authorities visited a number of residents living in difficult circumstances and tech professionals to extend festival greetings.
In Xingwan Community in Loufeng Sub-district, the officials visited several physically or financially challenged residents and gave them gifts and subsidy to help them enjoy a happy Spring Festival.
It is learnt that a total of 7,789 households in SIP will receive money and gifts before the festival.
In another tour, the officials visited NanoMicro, a microspheres company founded by Dr. Jiang Biwang, who is a leading talent in science and technology development in SIP.
In the meeting with Jiang, Shen extended greetings to him and his colleagues and encouraged the company to seek stronger development through continuous innovation.
