SIP Task Group for Piloting E-file-only Recording in Administrative Services convened a meeting on Aug 7 to make deployment for a pilot program aimed at realizing paperless recording in all administrative services.

It is learnt that SIP was selected by the Administrative Service Management Office of East China’s Jiangsu province in May to carry out the pilot program following the guidance of the National Archives Administration and the E-government Affairs Office at the General Office of the State Council. The program, being executed relying on SIP’s one-stop administrative service system, is expected to help improve administrative service efficiency and reduce expenditures in archive preservation.
At the event, the task group revealed the progress of the program, and specified the future tasks under it, requiring all SIP authorities to optimize their work procedures and digital systems to gradually replace paper files with e-files.
