Salon session links multinationals with schools and research institutes

SIP authorities organized a salon session on July 10 in an attempt to facilitate exchange and cooperation between multinationals and higher education institutions and research institutes in the area.
 
At the event, several officials from local authorities introduced related policies and services to the participants, while representatives from over 20 multinationals including B. Braun and Oerlikon and those from Oxford Suzhou Centre for Advanced Research and Xi’an Jiaotong-Liverpool University among other schools and research institutes discussed cooperation potentials. 
 
Tang Jiajie, engineering director at Johnson & Johnson Medical (Suzhou) Ltd, a branch of the globally renowned Fortune 500 company Johnson & Johnson, shared the company’s experience in collaborating with SIP Industrial Technical School in an internship program and teaming up with Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics in technology innovation projects.
