Suzhou Science and Technology Bureau recently unveiled the 2024 list of innovation consortiums to be approved in Suzhou. Nine projects in SIP are on the list, and two of them are led by enterprises in Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort (YLPTR).
The innovation consortiums are groups of firms and research organizations which cooperate in promoting technology upgrading in different industries.
Sujing Group Co Ltd, an environmental protection device and solution supplier, is engaged in developing the “intelligent low-carbon water cleaning technology and equipment innovation consortium” in collaboration with a number of partners including Nanjing University, the Research Institute for Environmental Innovation (Suzhou) Tsinghua, the Suzhou Institute for Advanced Research of the University of Science and Technology of China and several enterprises.
Canmax Technologies Co Ltd, a developer of new energy lithium battery materials, anti-static ultra clean technology and products and medical devices, is joining hands with 12 organizations including Soochow University and Chinese Academy of Sciences’ Suzhou Institute of Nano-tech and Nano-bionics to develop the “innovation consortium for key materials for new lithium-ion batteries”.
