The CPC branches of Jingying Apartment Community and Yueshu Community in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district and the joint CPC branch and trade union of Worldhotel Grand Dushulake Suzhou and Guanyuan Liusu Hotel jointly organized an event on Aug 4 to offer young people a chance to make new friends and even find their life partners.
The event was held to usher in the Chinese Valentine’s Day which, reckoned on the seventh day of the seventh month on the Chinese lunar calendar, will fall on Aug 10 this year.
The event started with several icebreaking games where the participating young men and women made a preliminary acquaintance.
In the interaction session, the participants showcased their talents and wisdom. The hall was full of happy laughter and cheerful voices.
The event also included a matchmaking session where 13 couples hoped to know each other better and form relationships.
The sponsors of the event presented cinema tickets and tickets to the Taihu Beer & Music Festival to the participants.
