Haide Community in SIP’s Xietang Sub-district recently hosted an interesting fair which showed good effect in spreading the concept of low-carbon development.
There were 10 booths with different themes. At the booth for bookcrossing, many residents exchanged books with each other.
Another booth offered the participants a chance to exchange their idle articles for potted plants.
There was also a booth where the participants learned about the harm of plastic bags and the benefits of using recycle bags from the volunteers and painted blank canvas bags to make unique recycle bags for themselves.
The fun games attracted many people, too. They not only enhanced the interactions between the participating residents, but also enabled them to gain a better understanding of waste sorting.
