SIP Municipal Service Group (SIPMSG), a municipal service company in SIP, recently launched a project to renovate public facilities for the blind.
SIPMSG changed the bricks on the sidewalk in the east of Xingyang Street (Suzhou Center section), and renovated the surfaces of seven road sections around bus stops.
The company also checked the barrier-free accesses and the height of urinals, handrails beside pedestal pans, call buttons and paper boxes in 178 public toilets, and made 210 modifications to ensure easy accessibility for the blind.
