Suzhou Center Plaza Community in SIP’s Jinji Lake Sub-district has taken a series of measures to serve the workers who deliver express parcels and on-demand food in the community.
The community’s authorities and property management company jointly set up a service station for female delivery workers to have a rest and get the supplies they may urgently need. The service station also gave gift packs to all of the seven female delivery workers in the community.
Concurrently, the community encourages delivery workers to help distribute leaflets on waste sorting and expose violations of waste sorting rules during their work. That has increased the delivery workers’ sense of belonging.
The authorities of the community also invited several executives from the Chinese on-demand food delivery service provider Meituan to visit a local service station for on-demand food delivery cyclists to discuss cooperation and offer advice for service upgrading.
