The much-anticipated 2023 (12th) Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon kicked off in SIP on Mar 12. A total of 30,000 runners competed in it.
The event consisted of the half marathon (21.0975 km), the short-distance marathon (about 10.5 km) and the mini marathon (about 4 km) which attracted the runners of different ages and from different social circles.
Among the runners were both Chinese and expatriates. Lots of them have participated in the Suzhou Jinji Lake Half Marathon for many times.
The winners eventually emerged. Shen Bin scooped the championship in the men’s half marathon race, and Jiao Anjing won the championship in the women’s half marathon race.
Many citizens watched the races and experienced the recreational projects on site.
