The Suzhou National Cosmetics Inspector Training Base, the first and only training base of its kind in the country, formally came into operation in SIP recently. The 2022 Second National Cosmetics Inspector Training Class opened at the training base concurrently.
It is reported that the training base was built based on an agreement signed between the Center for Food and Drug Inspection of the National Medical Products Administration of China, Suzhou Market Supervision Bureau and SIP Administrative Committee in November 2021. It currently has 30 lecturers from six partners including Fortune 500 enterprises and famous Chinese enterprises, who can provide lessons in 27 categories.
The latest session of training gathered more than 60 cosmetics inspectors from 37 cosmetics regulators in 19 provincial-level regions. In addition to attending the theory and practice lessons, they will share work experience with each other and discuss methods for better regulation of cosmetics.
