The smart poles newly installed in SIP’s Yangcheng Lake Peninsula Tourist Resort are eye-catching, not only because they are beautiful, but also because they accommodate multiple high-tech devices.
Each pole is a combination of road lamps, signages, cameras and a mini 5G base station. It is equipped with modules for energy saving, collection and release of information about traffic and environment, and communication with IoT devices such as unmanned vehicles.
The smart pole is a solution for optimization of infrastructure on and under roads and streets. It makes the installation of such infrastructure more cost-effective and less cumbersome, and also saves space.
