Outstanding Academy, a Chinese investment research organization, unveiled the 2021 List of Best Institutional LPs in China on May 25. SIP VC Investment Guidance Fund made the list as one of the “Top 20 Government Guidance Funds in Yangtze River Delta”, and Tai Da, leader of SIP VC Investment Guidance Fund Management Center, was honored as one of the “Rising Stars at the Best Institutional LPs in China”.
Established in 2007, the RMB 1 billion SIP VC Investment Guidance Fund allocated by SIP’s financial department is under the management of SIP VC Investment Guidance Fund Management Center, which was formed in SIP Enterprise Development Service Center in 2011. It has thus far backed 38 sub-funds (four established in 2021) which, with more than RMB 10 billion under management, have invested in 618 projects in such sectors as AI, biomedicine and nanotech in SIP, and about 42.07% of the projects focus on biomedicine.
The investments, along with tailored consulting, mentoring and other business services, have offered the investees great help in seeking fast growth.
