HYC Technology, a testing equipment and solution supplier, delivered its homegrown 5G radio frequency tester to Carsem Semiconductor Suzhou, a branch of a Malaysia-headquartered semiconductor-related packaging and test service supplier Carsem, on Aug 30. The latter will use the tester in its assembly and test services for RF (radio frequency) switches produced by Shanghai-based semiconductor developer Willsemi.
The TS-1800 tester, boasting a vector signal transceiver (VST) and a vector network analyzer (VNA) independently developed by HYC Technology, is the country’s first homegrown equipment of its kind. It can be used for test of a wide range of devices including 5G RF switches, low noise amplifiers and power amplifiers.
The three companies signed an agreement on the day of delivery to promote the application of the tester.
