The award ceremony of the photography competition themed “I Spent the Spring Festival at the Banks of Dushu Lake” was held at Dushu Lake Sports Center lately. It marked the conclusion of the series of events that the Community Working Committee and Federation of Trade Unions of SIP’s Moon Bay sub-district organized since February to show care and love for non-native people who stayed put during the Chinese Spring Festival to help prevent the spread of COVID-19.
It is learnt that the committee and FTU visited more than 30 enterprises around the festival and gave gifts to over 400 of their employees. They also presented warm pastes, gloves, masks and other supplies to 300 frontline workers like municipal service suppliers, construction workers and volunteers, and gave gifts and anti-epidemic supplies to 150 on-demand food delivery cyclists and couriers.
The photography competition received more than 100 entries from the participants in the sub-district and the neighboring Dushu Lake Science & Education Innovation Zone and Xietang Sub-district, and the winners received certificates of honor at the award ceremony.
