Liu Xiaomei, deputy director of SIP Administrative Committee, and her contingent visited Suzhou Fintech Innovation Center, SIP on Jan 22. The 12,200-square-meter new facility, a cooperative project between SIP Administrative Committee and Bank of Suzhou, is dedicated to promoting innovation in financial technology.
Liu and her fellows first had a tour around the center. In the process, they learnt details about its conditions, and offered advice on displays at its exhibition hall and its work related to building of joint laboratories in collaboration with enterprises and research institutes for the purpose of promoting development and application of financial technologies.
At the later meeting, Liu instructed the center to spare no efforts to gather resources and optimize its services to support fintech developers to make innovations and promote application of advanced technologies in the financial sector. The participants also discussed a series of issues concerning the center’s future development.
