Date:2021-12-24 10:42:00|Source:|Font Size: AAA

Built in 1927, Suzhou Art Museum sits northwest of Beisi Pagoda. It is a typical Suzhou-style building with the “moon gate” that is commonly seen in classic gardens in Suzhou. The museum has one floor underground and two above ground. There is an 800-square-meter exhibition hall on the first floor, and six smaller ones on the second floor. Other facilities include a multi-functional lecture hall, a constant temperature and humidity warehouse, and a citizens’ gallery.

The museum’s interior design is simple and elegant, with white color as the basic tone. There are paintings in various types, from traditional Chinese paintings to oil paintings.

Reservation is required. To prevent the spread of COVID-19, visitors must show their health QR code and wear a mask when visiting the museum.
