The 10-li (5-kilometer) dawn redwood (Metasequoia glyptostroboides) belt along the Xietang River has gone viral on social media platforms, nearly equally famous as Huqiu Wetland Park.

As the breeze rises, the leaves of the trees sway slowly, and some fall quietly like feathers, covering the ground like a carpet.

The trees are towering, like serious soldiers in armors which get shiny in the sunlight.

Many people come to take pictures, recording the beautiful scenery with their mobile phones and cameras.

Looking across the river, it looks like an oil painting, or a dreamland portrayed in fairytales.
