The Suzhou working groups of Singapore International Arbitration Centre (SIAC) and Singapore International Mediation Centre (SIMC) were inaugurated, marking that SIP, hailed as the “pathfinder” for China-Singapore cooperation, has pulled off another success in exploring new ways for cooperation between the two countries.

The SIAC and SIMC working groups are dedicated to providing support for international commercial arbitration and mediation in the Yangtze River Delta region, which is expected to help accelerate settlement of commercial disputes and therefore facilitate international business activities in SIP and the surrounding areas.

SIP is also rolling out its experience drawn from cooperation with Singaporean partners to a wider range. At the signing ceremony, the local authorities announced to set up international business cooperation centers in Singapore, Hong Kong and Tokyo, and upgrade the Suzhou International Dedicated Connectivity online data channel for more efficient investment promotion and business services.
