The first goal is to speed up concentration of ingredients for science and technology innovation, including R&D facilities and professionals, tech businesses and other related resources. For example, SIP aims to gather over 15,000 tech businesses and more than 40,000 high-caliber talents engaged in related fields by 2035.
The second goal is to enhance industrial competiveness, including increasing the proportion of the output value of high-tech industries in that of all industrial enterprises above designated size to 80%.
The third goal is to optimize opening-up strategies and modes for more fruitful international cooperation, and the fourth is to further promote integrated urban and industrial development to form an ideal ecosystem for both business and living.
