SIP Holds Collective Signing Ceremony and Rewards 814 Enterprises with 353 Million RMB

Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) held a collective signing ceremony on May 24 and, on the same occasion, granted a total of 112.68 million yuan subsidies to 12 SIP enterprises including AU Optronics (Suzhou), Catcher Group, Celestica, and SimpLight Nanoelectronics. At the ceremony, SIP signed cooperation agreements 21 projects with a total value of 39 billion yuan, covering extensive fields of financing, manufacturing, real estate, bio-medicine, education, and energy-saving and environmental protection.

12 companies get a total of 112.68 million yuan subsidies
The five projects in cooperation with state-owned enterprises (SOEs) include the financing of urban and rural integration, Beijing New Building Materials Group, CECIC (China Energy Conservation Investment Corporation) Suzhou Environmental Protection Sci-Tech Industrial Park, GCL-Poly Energy Holdings Limited, and Suzhou Center of Industrial Technology Innovation and Incubation, Chinese Academy of Sciences (SCITII, CAS).
The 11 international cooperation projects include follow-up investment by AMD, Aubei investment guaranty, Heartland Technology, RedStar Furniture Group, Jiangsu Dachang Investment, Daiwa House investment, Johnson & Johnson, Beron Media, Exigen Services outsourcing, and INTech.
The five China-Singapore projects include the cooperation between Singapore Nanyang Technological University and Suzhou Institute of Services Outsourcing, the cooperation on technological innovation by Singapore-China Association for Advancement of Science and Technology (SCAAST), Moon Bay heating and cooling system, Project Studio Apartment (for senior citizens) with Singapore Econ Healthcare Group, and the cooperation on consultancy of Ecological Optimization Campaign Phase Two.
After 15 years of continuous construction and development, SIP has played an increasingly important role in local social and economic growth. At celebrating its 15th anniversary, SIP sticks to the guideline of sustaining growth and organizes the collective signing ceremony for the projects featuring large scale, great potential, and bright prospect so as to get well prepared for another round of growth.
