As a market leader in terms of middle- and long-term investment and financing in the country, China Development Bank issued the first loan to SIP in 2000 to improve the environment around Jinji Lake, which started a decade of fruitful cooperation. During the 11th Five-Year, the bank focused on the construction and development of transport and energy infrastructure as well as the improvement of livelihood in the city, offering financial support to such key projects as Taihu lake renovation, comprehensive renovation of Huqiu area, Infovision Optoelectronics (Kunshan), and Taicang Power Plant. By the end of June 2011, the bank had issued a total of 150 billion yuan to the city, with 37.4 billion loan balance, accounting for nearly one fourth of its total loan assets in the province. |
