  As a market leader in terms of middle- and long-term investment and financing in the country, China Development Bank issued the first loan to SIP in 2000 to improve the environment around Jinji Lake, which started a decade of fruitful cooperation. During the 11th Five-Year, the bank focused on the construction and development of transport and energy infrastructure as well as the improvement of livelihood in the city, offering financial support to such key projects as Taihu lake renovation, comprehensive renovation of Huqiu area, Infovision Optoelectronics (Kunshan), and Taicang Power Plant. By the end of June 2011, the bank had issued a total of 150 billion yuan to the city, with 37.4 billion loan balance, accounting for nearly one fourth of its total loan assets in the province.  
China Development Bank Suzhou Branch Holds Opening Ceremony

China Development Bank held an opening ceremony on July 11 at Kempinski Hotel for Suzhou Branch, its first branch in a city not specifically designated in the state plan. SIP Grows under Meticulous Care of China Development Bank

The opening ceremony was held on July 11 for China Development Bank (CDB) Suzhou Branch, the first CDB branch in a city not specifically listed in the state plan. CDB President Jiang Chaoliang said this was a new start for the bank in contributing to the social and economic growth of Suzhou. The cooperation between the bank and the city, which began as early as 2000, has become a successful case of the support to infrastructure construction with bank loans according to the market rules.
CDB Suzhou Branch Provides 800M Loan to Horgos Special Economic Zone

At the opening ceremony of China Development Bank (CDB) Suzhou Branch on July 11, the bank and the city's mission team in support of Xinjiang Horgos Port signed a cooperation agreement, according to which the bank will offer 800 million yuan loan to Horgos Special Economic Development Zone.
