In order to make sure that ordinary people benefit from rapid economic growth and live a happy life in an increasingly prosperous society, Suzhou Industrial Park learns from the practice in Singapore and opens ears to public opinions. In May 2011, SIP decided the second Sunday of each month as the Communicating Day between the authorities and the public. The leaders of SIP CPC Working Committee and Administrative Committee will take turns to lead mission team to talk to local residents. During the time other than Community Day, the residents can have their voices heard at the Community Centers located at Neighborhood Centers. According to the plan, all the neighborhoods in SIP will have a Community Center in next two to three years.
