SIP Calls on the Public to Help Quake-affected Yushu People
After a 7.1-magnitude quake hit Yushu, Qinghai Province, at 7:49 am on April 14, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) has managed to provide the much-needed help to the areas affected by the devastating disaster.
At the news of the earthquake, Xingsheng Construction wired transferred 100,000 yuan to the account of SIP Charity Federation and, on the morning of April 19, the Federation received 76,000 yuan donated by local Christian community.
The Federation called on the public to help the survivors of lost homes. The Federation receives corporate donation and authorizes community committees to collect money from individual donors.
