Turning “Singaporean experience” into “SIP experience”

As a Sino-Singaporean joint venture, CSSD has been learning experience from Singapore for the development and operation of SIP. However, it is concurrently trying to localize the Singaporean experience based on SIP’s actual conditions and needs and turn it into “SIP experience”. Now, the “SIP experience” has proved to be very effective in bolstering business development and ensuring residents’ sense of happiness, and is being rolled out to many other areas.

CSSD signed an agreement with the People’s Government of Jiashan county in Jiaxing city, East China’s Zhejiang province on Dec 30, 2018 to launch cooperation in developing the China-Singapore Jiashan Modern Industrial Park based on a series of good practices introduced from SIP. The 16.5-square-kilometer project has great significance in driving the implementation of the country’s strategy for an integrated development of the Yangtze River Delta region.
Currently, a number of projects of similar kind are underway in East China’s Jiangsu, Anhui and Zhejiang provinces and several cities in Northwest China. CSSD also entered cooperation with Singaporean partners last year to duplicate SIP’s development mode in countries covered by China’s Belt and Road Initiative that is designed to connect the East Asian and European economic circles for win-win cooperation. Thanks to its efforts, “SIP experience” is gaining more and more recognition home and abroad.
