The opening ceremony of the 10th LCR was held at Moon Harbor, SIP on Oct 11. Over 200 adults and youngsters showcased outstanding sailing skills in the races over the following three days, while a huge number of spectators watched the races and joined the Suzhou International Lohas Festival to enjoy delicious food and amazing art performances and experience various water sports.

 

Initiated in 2011, the annual LCR has evolved into a competitive and ornamental event for popularizing water sports and a brand program in SIP. This year’s event comprised not only a list of conventional races and entertainment projects, but also a release of a set of stamps to mark LCR’s 10th anniversary.

Moreover, LCR has opened up opportunities across diversified fields such as sailing training, tourism and leisure, and therefore covered by many Chinese and overseas media.
