The 2019 Global AI Products and Applications Expo, jointly hosted by Suzhou People’s Government and The Technology Innovation Alliance of Artificial Intelligence Industry, kicked off in SIP on May 9.

Nearly 200 renowned domestic and overseas enterprises showcased more than 1,000 kinds of extraordinary AI products and solutions in an over-20,000-square-meter exhibition area.

Five “National Open Innovation Platforms for Next Generation Artificial Intelligence” being developed under a program led by the Ministry of Science and Technology of China made their debut at the event.

Additionally, a main forum and over 20 sub-forums were held for AI professionals to exchange views on AI technologies and their application in various fields.

At the event, SIP announced the list of seven “AI Application and Innovation Centers (AIAICs)” it has accredited as major carriers for AI technology application and innovation, and the list of members of SIP AI Application and Innovation Expert Panel which was newly formed to provide support to the AIAICs and their projects.
